Nature books We’re giving away 3 Usborne Beginning Nature books, Bears, Eggs and Chicks, and Caterpillars and Butterflies. These books have beautiful photographs, and they’re loaded with information for your budding scientist.

    Two of my favorites were Who Said Sue Said Who? And The King, the Mice and the Cheese. I STILL have the books! And the old Dick and Jane books are cute too.

    I like a lot of the kid’s books. The most orginally of my favorites is “The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.” I like the spoofs.

    our family LOVES the Olivia book series…she is one precocious pig! And we laugh and laugh every time we read them. :)

    “Catalina Magdalena Hoopensteiner Wallendiner Hogan Logan Bogan Was Her Name” & “Parts” both by Tedd Arnold are my girls’ favorites. We found an Usborne book on polar bears at the thrift store and the girls love it, so I’d love to win these for them! Thank you for the chance =)

    The children’s book I hate to love is “I’ll Love You Forever”. We have four grown/growing boys and this story makes me cry every time I read it!

    What fun! My grandkids loved ‘baby talk’ for some reason. My favorite was probably the “my book house’ series, especially one of hte early volumes, ‘in the nursery.’ It was filled with fairy tales from other cultures and helped make me curious about and, I think, more accepting of differences in the world.

    My dd’s current favorite is The Quiltmaker’s Gift, which is just an awesome book about giving! I’ve also always loved Amelia Bedelia!

    Thanks for the great giveaway! I love “On Beyond Zebra” by Dr. Seuss. The illustrations are high contrast, and the rhythm of the words entertains my baby to no end. :)

    Thanks for having a contest - please count me in. It’s hard to pick one favorite children’s book. I enjoy the Frances books by Russell and Lillian Hoban - my son likes them too.

    My daughter’s favorite story is Gigi (God’s Little Princess). She brings animal and nature books home from the school library book - usually about kittens and bunnies. She would love these.

    My all time favorite childhood book is Socks For Supper, an older lady knits socks and her hubsand grows turnips in exchange for milk. I learned a lot from that book and thankfully my children also loved it.

    My favorite one to read right now is Click Clack Moo Cows that Type. It is fun to get my dd to say the animals sounds and I love the storyline. Even I get a giggle with it.

    Right now my favorite books are the Magic Treehouse books. We are reading through the entire series and I think I am learning as much as my son is. I would love these books for him. thanks for the entry.

    Oh, the places you will go!

    I had never read it, and I LOVE it. It is one of those… “You will accomplish everything you set your mind to, but when hard times are hard, you can pick yourself up!”

    It’s wonderful. I’ve read it to my daughter three times, I won it on a blog giveaway, and it’s my favorite prize so far!!!!

    My boys would just love these books. I love nature and animals and have definitely passed that interest on to them.

    My childhood favorite is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (Pickles in Pittsburgh - not the best sequel). As a mommy Robert Munsch books are a huge hit. When I was teaching I loved using the If You Give a Mouse/Moose/Pig series.

    My daughter’s favorite book is a Disney Pixar look and find book. It’s a toddler version and even though she’s only 2 1/2, she’s pretty darn good at it! It’s got A Bugs Life, The Incredibles, Toy Story 1 and 2, and Cars. She is obsessed with the Cars movie.

    My favorite children’s book - wow - it’s hard to pick just one! I’d have to say The Little House by Virginia Burton. It was one of my favorites as a child, and I still have my childhood copy, which I now read to my little ones - and yes, it’s become one of their all-time favorites too! (They also love hearing about how it was read to me when I was a little girl!)

    My grandchildren, Allison Cate age 3, and Adam Lee age 18 months, love it when NanaDiana reads ANYTHING to them. I am always looking for simple wholesome books to introduce them to. One of their favorites is “The Giving Tree”, and the “I love You Stinky Face” books.
    Thank you for the giveaway. I know if we are fortunate enough to win, we will have many hours of pleasure with these stories, coz Alli and Adam’s favorite phrase is “Read it again, nana!” ;)
