The Princess and The Frog Party Ideas

The Princess and The Frog is premiering in theaters on December 11th. It’s the latest of the Disney Princess movies, so of course it promises to be a big hit with little girls everywhere.

I wanted to put together a quick roundup of ideas in case you were planning a Disney Princess and The Frog party for your little prince or princess.

First up I made these really easy frog cupcakes this morning. I just used a regular cupcake, some green frosting, 2 white chocolate melts, and a little black decorator icing. The frog cupcakes were super simple to make. I iced the cupcake with the green icing, then used the white chocolate candy melts for the eyes and dots of black icing for the center of the eyes and the frogs nose.

There are some really cute Princess and the Frog Party Supplies, I love the purples and greens together, you can do so much with that for decorating. Add in some white frosting (which should be easy to find this time of year), and you’ll have an adorable party set up.

The Princess and the Frog party game ideas:

Play lily pad freeze tag. If you can get outdoors make two giant lily pads from green poster board. Set up boundaries, and have someone be it. The lily pads can be the base. The person who’s it tries to freeze as many kids as they can. The others try to unfreeze them, and keep from getting frozen themselves.
Play a lily pad version of musical chairs. Cut several lily pads out of large construction paper, or poster board and put them in an oval shape (pretend they were the chairs if you were playing musical chairs), or you can tape the lily pads to the seat of the chairs. When the music stops anyone left without a lily pad is out.
Use a stuffed frog to play a froggy version of hot potato. Let the kids toss the frog around, and when the music stops the child left holding the frog is out of the game.
