Sesame Street is celebrating 40 years on November 10th. They’ve had many celebs guest stars through the years. The latest is Michelle Obama who will be joining the Sesame Street characters as they celebrate 40 years. Here’s a quick preview of her appearance.

If you’d like to celebrate along with the Sesame Street gang, or if you have a Sesame Street birthday party coming up, here are a few ideas to help you get started.

First up you’ve got to have cake. Check out this cute Elmo cake made with an Elmo Cake Pan

You could also make an Abby Cadabby Cake, or make one of each!

My favorite is probably this Wilton Sesame Street Cake Toppers.

For fun you can let the kids watch their favorite Sesame Street episodes, play an alphabet or shapes game, or pin the nose on Elmo.
