Plan a Hotel For Dogs Premiere or Birthday Party

It’s a puppy party! Hotel For Dogs premieres in theaters this weekend, and it looks like a really cute movie for kids. I’ve posted several dog and puppy party ideas here at Kid’s Birthday Fun, so you can check out these links and ideas to help you plan your party:

- Plan a “doggie” treasure hunt, have the children break into small groups to hunt for a hidden bone, stuffed puppy, or dog treat, leave some clues along the way. The best way to set up a treasure hunt is to do everything in reverse. Hide the “doggie treasure” then work your way back with clues to find it.
- Use biscuit shaped cookie cutters to make “dog snack” cookies.
- Have the children all bring their favorite stuffed dog and invite them to share a story about their stuffed friend. (You could get some interesting stories!)
- Play pass the puppy with a stuffed dog (a dog version of hot potato), the winner keeps the stuffed animal as a prize.
- Dog or puppy party invitations
The most important thing for any party no matter what the theme is to just have fun with it.
