Girl Gourmet Gift Ideas

I love the girl gourmet cooking sets! Last year my niece got the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker for Christmas, and we had a blast making cupcakes. It only takes about 30 seconds in the microwave, then you get to decorate.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to make a big batch of cupcakes, but my niece had a blast baking and sharing her cupcakes with her brothers, and her aunt.

The Girl Gourmet Line has some fun new additions just in time for the 2009 Christmas season.

My favorite is the new Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery, JAKKS partnered with world-renowned celebrity baker Duff Goldman of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes (one of my favorite food celebs ever!) on the new Girl Gourmet cake bakery product line, with which young chefs can create elaborate mini 2-tiered fondant cakes in just 30 seconds in the microwave.

The kit also gets children familiar with fondant, which is fun even for adults! It’s like sweet edible play dough.

Also new this year is the Girl Gourmet Sweets Candy Jewel Factory, where girls can make their own fun edible jewelry, then bake it in the Jewel Factory Oven.

There is even a Candy Jewel Factory Refill available, so you can keep on making jewelry.

There are more sweet jewelry making options with the Candy Bead Studio and the Girl Gourmet Candy Ring Maker.

All of these would be a ton of fun for a little girls cooking or jewelry party! They could make their own jewelry for party favors. I could see a group of girls giggling over this for hours.
