I made a couple 4th of July cakes and cupcakes for AmazingMoms, and for some of my other blogs. They’re fun ideas you can make with your kids, or for your 4th of July party or cookout. I thought I’d share them here too so they’re all in one place!
First up here’s a 4th of July Cupcake Flag Recipe made with mini cupcakes. This was super easy to make! You just swirl the cupcakes with icing, and add some stars.

Here’s a fun idea I wrote up for AmazingMoms for a 4th of July cake, Uncle Sam’s Hat in 3D. This cake is really easy to make, it just requires one decorating tip, and two different sizes of round cake pans. It does take some time to decorate, but it’s not hard to do.
