Kid’s Party Favors: Geoff And Drew’s Cookies

Published by Linette under Favors and Gifts

Geoff and Drew's gourmet cookie party favorsI recently had the opportunity to sample Geoff and Drew’s Cookies.

To say they were wonderful is an understatement. They were melt in your mouth delicious. If you’re looking for made at home cookie taste, without baking them yourself these cookies would be an excellent replacement.

I love chocolate, so I sampled the chocolate-chocolate chip, and the white chocolate-cranberry cookies. I wasn’t sure I would like the cranberry, but in the end they were my favorite.

They have a wonderful selection, and several options, from individually wrapped cookies, to large gift baskets.

Geoff and Drew’s Cookies would make excellent birthday party favors, birthday gifts, holiday party treats, or thank you gifts.

Mini Palm Tree Pinata Beach Party Decoration

I just saw these, and I think they’d be adorable for a beach party, or luau. They’re called Mini Palm Tree Decorator Pinatas . You can use them for table decorations, or hang them up. When the party’s done send one home with each of your guests. Each palm tree stands about 8″ tall.

You could fill them with candy, or small toys, or let your guests fill their own at a candy buffet.

Cute!

Chocolatey Guest Post

Published by Linette under Cupcakes, Favors and Gifts

I recently had the opportunity to do a guest post for Chocolate Bytes. I enjoy planning parties, decorating cakes, and gardening. This guest post gave me the opportunity to do all three, with chocolate!

Melted chocolates make great cupcake or cake toppers. I think these molded chocolates would be fun for a cookout, or just for summer fun. If you’re planning a Mother’s Day party, summer garden party, or birthday tea party check out how to make these melted chocolate garden cupcake toppers.

Valentine’s Day Chocolate Covered Pretzels

IMG 1731Try a new twist on an old favorite treat, chocolate covered pretzels, for a Valentine’s Day treat. They’re simple to make, and even easier to eat. Your kids will have a blast helping you make them.

Ingredients:

A bag of rod pretzels

1/2 bar (or 6-8 squares) Chocolate Bark (it melts really well in the microwave) Follow the instructions on the bag to melt.

Valentines day sprinkles

Melt the chocolate, let your children help dip the pretzels in the melted chocolate.

I lay the dipped pretzels on wax paper, but you can also prop them up in a cup to dry (if you don’t want them to be flat on one side). Let your children add the sprinkles while the chocolate’s still soft.

Bundle them together for a Valentine’s Day gift, or make a pretzel bouquet for your child’s classroom.
